Abstract

Pakistan has great and unique significance because of its particular religious, political, geographical, economic and industrial background. As an ideological Islamic state, it guarantees peace, basic human rights, religious tolerance, religious equality and the protection of private and public property. Even with this particular prospective, it is facing numerous problems related to social peasce and security. The issues of terrorism, extremism, suicidal attacks, target killing, invading the Armed Forces and law enforcing agencies, the breaking of prisons, challenging the writ of the state, religious torture and kidnapping for ransom are such serious crimes which are yet to be addressed and overcome seriously. The solution of such issues related to social peace and security is extremely necessary for the survival, integrity, progress and soliderity of Pakistan. The Muslim Thought is facing multi-dimentional challenges to achieve these universal objectives based on everlasting peace, love and harmony. The non-seriousness of the political parties, incomplete and ineffective constitutionalization, non eligible executive, complicated judicial system, the puppet media, irresponsible narratives of Jihaad, lack of pluristic awareness, religious sectarianism and socio-economic inequality are some cruel hurdles which have not yet allowed the promotion and maintainence of social peace and religious tolerance. The study and analysis of the ideological and practical challenges are necessary for the scholars and intellectuals who are interested in the survival and integrity of Pakistan as well as the renaissance of the Muslim Thought and its solidarity.
