Abstract

Islam is basically religion of nature whose objective is to formulate the sharai injunctions for the welfare of humanity. Human nature has always been given a special importance while explaining these injunctions and no decree has been issued that goes against man's natural aptitude. Man naturally different from others as for as his living, customs, color and generation, language and expression and culture and civilization are concerned. Moreover, the change of time also influences man needs and problems Islam offers such a comprehensive and eternal code of life as is practicable even for the last person on this earth. The incidents of every age have been kept in view for the solution of issues in Islamic shariah due to this religion is as practicable even today as it was 14centries ago. Where the other sources have been employed for the elaboration of sharai injunctions in the Holy Quran and sunnah, there the change of zamana(time) andUrf has also been allowed to be used as a origin. There are certain issues in the Holy Quran and sunnah which are directed towards the change in time and space and the habits of people for their final solution. For this, there is the condition that those habits do not counter the principals presented by the religion. After this the Sahaba and scholars presented the solution of many issues on the basis of urf-o-zamana. The objective of presenting the solution on this basis is to facilitate general public, In this article "The change in the sharai injunctions on the basis of Urf-o-zamana-An Analytical study" has been highlighted so that an open-hearted passion may be developed in the people for the comprehension of Islam.
