Voice Recording of the Holy Quran; Importance and Goals

Abstract

Voice recording of the Holy Quran is modern technique to save the pronunciation  of the Holy Quran. It can be considered as the fourth era of preservation of the Holy  Qur'an. In the meeting of’’جمیعۃالعامۃللمحافظۃالقرآن‘‘Dr. Labib presented this  suggestion. In this article, first time in Urdu, the possibilities of preservation of the  Holy Quran in voice shape by latest equipment has been discussed. Main purpose  of this practice is to preserve the original pronunciation and voice of the Quranic  words, which has been inherited from generation to generation. This practice will also be proved helpful in teaching of Tjweed to the students of the Holy Quran.
