Comparative Study of Mus’haf-e- Madina and Pakistani Masaahif, Regarding Ilmuz-zabt:
No doubt all branches of Quranic studies are important. One of these important Quranic studies is called “Ilmuz-zabt”. Where phonetics and linguistics of the Holy Quran like “Harkaat”, “Tanveen”, “sakoon”, “tashdeed”, “madd” and “hamza” etc are discussed in details. Correct recitation of Holy Quran in text form is very necessary for every Muslim and authenticity of the text of Holy Quran is based on “Ilmuz-zabt” but we do not have a little knowledge about this. Unfortunately the set of rules described by “Ilmuz-zabt” is not followed while printing the “Masaahif” in Pakistan. And these masaahif contain lot of errors regarding “Ilmuz-zabt” like “tanveen”, “idgham”, “madd”, “huroof e madda”, “zayid huroof zabt” and “zabt of makhzoof haroof”. And not even a single mas-haf is prepared where we can find the correct implementation of “Ilmuz-zabt”in Pakistan. In this article locally printed “Masaahif” are compared with “Mas-haf e Madina” regarding following the “Ilmuz-zabt”. Because “Mas-haf e Madina” is a standard Mas-haf according to ilmuz-zabt.
