Abstract

A common problem in theological debates is Imamate, on the basis of which there is a great difference between the Sunnis and the Shiites. It cannot be complete without the commentators believing in it. Among the Shiites, it is the most common after Prophethood. Imamate has this belief, which is what separates the Shiites from the rest of the Islamic religions. It is considered to be their basis and foundation, just like the belief of monotheism and prophethood, which are obligatory on the common Muslims among the Sunnis, while the Shiites the issue of determining the Imamate is obligatory on Allah Almighty. The Imamate of the Sunnah is not cancelled, but according to the Shariah, Muslims entrust it to a good and righteous person, while among the Shiites, the Imamate is prescribed
