Abstract

Molana Anwar Shah Kashmiri was a reputed Muhaddith of sub-continent. Wide vision of study and strong memory were his unique qualities. His worthy students wrote his lectures and transferred them in the shapes of worthy books. His unique technique of the interpretation of Hadith can easily understand through these books. In this article, we will try to understand the concept of abrogation of Molana Anwar Shah Kashmiri. There is a variety of opinions of abrogation among scholars, that’s why the fluctuation have been occurred in the number of abrogated verses. Molana Anwar Shah has a stand on this issue that no verse is abrogated completely. It is possible that a verse can be abrogated for its some particles but it is still relevant it’s some particles. He applied this approach on the interpretation of Hadith. In this article, a research study is being conducted on Molana’s concept of abrogation and its effects on the interpretation of Hadith.
