Abstract
Sirah-Writing has always been a favourite topic among the Muslim Writers during the past centuries of Islam. Muslims from all over the world composed excessively and devotedly the Sirah of Prophet (PBUH). The works about the life and times of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) produced in the Arab world are excellent and matchless. These original Sources of Sirah are the evidence of this truth and fact. This tradition still prevails in the contemporary Arab world. Arab writers are presenting valuable literature on the subject of Sirah. It has been compiled in various styles and its objectives are also specific. Some of these writers have demonstrated their best capabilities pertaining to Fiqh al-Sirah that deals with juristic results and implications driven from different aspects and incidents related to the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH).Muhammad Abu Zuhra, Mustafa Al-Sabai, Muhammad Al-Ghazali, Said Ramadan Al-bouti, Muhammad Ali Al-Sallabi, Mahdi Rizqullah Ahmad are among those writers who have adopted Fiqh-Sirah as a unique and rare Style in their Sirah-Writings in accordance with the need of modern world and the same as real essence of Sirah.This article is an attempt to highlight the contribution of contemporary Arab writers with respect toFiqh al-Sirah.
