Abstract
Allah the Almighty is the Lord of the whole Universe. Human beings are His superior creation; He loves them more than anyone. He has sent around 124000 Prophets for the edification of the mankind. The Apostles of Allah were the most superior and esteemed people on the Earth. They were the wisest, knowledgeable and intellectual personalities of their times. The Apostles of Allah were directly guided by Him. The basic aim or preaching of the Prophets was the enlightenment of human beings. They teach them the best manner to live their life. They have adopted different methods for this purpose. Teaching through the parables is also one of these methods. All the Prophets have adopted this method in their times. The parables have been extensively used in the Qur’ān and the Bible. In this article a comparative analysis of these parables from different perspectives will be discussed.
