Abstract

All praises be to Allah and prayers and peace be on the Imam of the Pious people, the seal of all Prophets, the mercy for the whole universe, the Chosen One for the matchless literature of Quran; the book that won a victory over all Arabs in eloquence and rhetoric of its languages. Advancing and Retreating of words is one of the basic chapters of eloquence and rhetoric of Quran. It is basically a feature of Quran’s rhetoric in which suitability of placement of words is discussed. It refers to beautiful meanings especially when it is discoursed with the words (Mercy and Remission) of the Holy Quran. This article deals with the study of different meanings of Advancing and Retreating in the context of Mercy and Remission in the Holly Quran
